About Albert Wong

CPA by training, Albert has worked with one of the Big 4 international accounting firms and multi-nationals in the Asia Pacific region and Australia. He has extensive  experience in managing and advising businesses both large and small. His industry experience spans across business start-ups to managing key functions of multi-nationals  involved in the finance, real estate, IT and F&B industries.

Through the turmoils of the global financial crisis in 2008 and 2009, Albert envisaged strategic opportunities when official cash rates in Australia fell to a 49-year low of 3%. During this time, he significantly expanded property portfolios by investing in strategic locations across major capital cities in Australia. He owns and manage investment properties in Asia and Australia and continues to seek out long-term property investment opportunities for private investors.  His focus for 2010 and 2011 is to add-value and develop the properties which he acquired during the GFC.

Albert created wealthruproperty.com to further hone and refine his skills in real estate investment.

Albert’s mentors whom he considers instrumental to his success include highly-regarded property experts and award-winning authors Michael Yardney, Steve McKnight, Ron Forlee and Ian Hosking Richards.

In addition to property investment, Albert enjoys writing about property markets, financial and investment strategies. He also enjoys cooking, collecting wine and playing the piano and his favourite music is Chopin, Rachmaninoff and Gershwin.
